MOT tests while you wait

Cars 3 years old and over require an MOT certificate by law from a government approved testing centre. We aim to make this annual requirement as easy and fuss free for you as possible so as to minimise the time taken out of your day. It starts with our quick and efficient booking in procedure, and continues through to your bringing your car in at the designated time and us getting on with the MOT test. You're welcome to wait in our comfortable waiting area, and there's always coffee on the go. 

The MOT test itself takes around 45 minutes, and we'll provide you with your certificate and advise if anything needs attention.

What are 'advisories'?

If your car passes the MOT but has 'advisories' noted on the certificate, these are items that we feel will require attention in due course but aren't severe enough to cause an MOT failure. With full service and repair facilities, we'd be pleased to book your car in to attend to these advisories if you wish.

What if the car fails the MOT?

The reasons for failure are shown on the paperwork, and we'll gladly show and explain what the problems are. We're fully equipped to repair your car, so we can offer to attend to the failure items there and then (subject to workloads and parts availability).
