Preparing for a service

We’re keen to help you get the best from your vehicle service, so in order to help you and to help us, please consider the following when bringing your vehicle in for servicing:

• Try to give clear (written, if possible) instructions of all the work you believe needs doing to your vehicle
• Itemise all known faults when booking your vehicle in (no need to worry about being technical here - if you hear knocks, taps, squeaks or bangs when driving then please tell us - that will usually help us find, diagnose and fix the problem)
• Leave a telephone number where you will be available that day so we can contact you if we need to
• If your vehicle has a service record book, please leave it on the front seat of the vehicle or hand it in to reception for us to stamp after we have completed your service. Remember, a full service history is likely to increase the value of your vehicle when you come to sell it
