MOT Testing While You Wait

By law, all cars which are three years old or over must have an MOT test every year, to ensure your car is roadworthy and in safe working order. This test must be carried out by a Government approved MOT testing centre.

The MOT is the annual inspection of your vehicle to ensure it meets minimum road safety standards. It will be carried out by one of Simon Green’s Vehicle Inspectorate approved testers. The MOT is fast and fair, taking on average, 45 minutes to complete.

The following elements on your vehicle are tested:

• DRIVING CONTROLS
• EXTERIOR
• LIGHTS
• UNDER BONNET
• UNDER VEHICLE
• BRAKE PERFORMANCE
• EXHAUST EMISSION

Our testers have an excellent and experienced engineering background, so there’s no unjust testing. And, if your vehicle should fail, they will be happy to explain why and actually show you the problem areas.

Furthermore, should your vehicle fail its test our team is able to repair your vehicle back to MOT standard without your car leaving the premises.
